That is because these home machines don't have the capacity to get all the stuff that is stuck really deep in the carpet pile.
After we have inspected your carpet and determined which fiber it's made of (so we use the correct detergent) we get to work on the most important part of the cleaning, dry soil removal.

Kids and pets have accidents, (even adults sometimes), people and pets track in mud and dirt, and over time your carpets look not so new anymore and covered in stains.
We use Maxim Advanced fabric protection because it Protects Fibers From the "Inside Out" which is important.
Traditional protectors work by creating a repellency barrier across the top of the carpet to protect the fibers.
But this repellency only works when spills are cleaned up immediately.
If not, they simply soak through the barrier where they immediately bond to the unprotected fibers, creating difficult to remove stains.

This is no "typical rinse" that can be done in your home.
This is a 5 step process that includes 2 phases of dry-soil removal, a thorough application of detergent designed specifically for each type of fiber (very important if you have silk or wool!) a rinse and vacuum set to fiber-specific temperatures and then a pile-groom that all leads to your rug being in like-new condition!
