Hello, my name is Steven Pratt. My wife Heather and I are the founders and owners of Pratt's Professional Chimney Service. After serving 10 years of honorable service in the U.S. Navy, I decided to try something new. My children were getting older and I was missing out on large parts of their childhood. Being stationed at Naval Station Great Lakes, we found we loved the area and wanted to stay.
After thinking of an interest in work, I found an opening at a local chimney service company owned by a fireman. After working for him for 5 years he decided to retire. Loving what I did, I wasn't ready to give it up so I decided to start my own company. I have always treated people and lived by the same principles that made me a very successful member of the U.S. Navy.
I instill these principles in every employee; I believe that if we are honest, work hard, operate with integrity, and genuinely care about other people, you will find success in whatever you chose to do in life. In return, this has led to great success for our family owned business.
