We are a Humboldt County's largest and only 100% employee owned cleaning company. Our clients are the homeowners, commercial-industrial-retail businesses, governments, schools and property managers in this area. Restif is entirely owned by the cleaners and other staff who work to provide the services. Every employee, after a short trial period, buys a voting share and participates in the responsibilities of ownership.

The purpose of Restif is to maximize the shareholder's return on their labor and is therefore our company is limited equity.
The co-op is led by a five person board of directors.
The directors have staggered, three year terms so there is always someone with experience on the board.
The board election is held at the annual membership meeting.
Each shareholder has one vote regardless of investment level, seniority or position in the company.
The board holds its principle gathering each year in December.

You may not think of Restif as a carpet cleaner because we have not advertised in the past.
But we have been cleaning carpets in residences as well as business for many years.
We use truck mounted, hot water extraction equipment because it can handle all situations, it requires fewer chemicals to do the job and it leaves the carpet residue free so it stays clean longer.

Regular service includes wash and squeegee glass, remove-wipe-reinstall screens, wipe sills and cobweb inside window casing.
We do wipe up our drips.
Extra Available Services - Scrape paint and adhesive, remove mineral deposits, scrub tracks and frames.

We can schedule weekly, biweekly or monthly service.
A regular task list, schedule and price are established at a bid meeting with our representative.
All Restif bids are no charge, so feel free to call even if you are just curious or shopping around.
We can also do the 'big jobs', including carpets, windows, oven, very high dusting, exterior building wash or cobweb, gutters and more if they are scheduled in advance.
