Mayfair Cleaners was purchased in June of 2015 by a local, family owned operation with over 40 years of experience in textile care. Our parent company, Kasperbauer Cleaners, is based out of Western Iowa. Improvements were made in the realm of upgrading outdated equipment, including the introduction of a state of the art environmentally friendly drycleaning machine.

Through the equipment and staff expertise at our multiple locations, we are able to offer a range of textile and clothing care and services.
We offer same day drycleaning and shirt laundry Monday through Friday if in before 10:00 am at our Ames Lincoln Way location.
Some specialty items are excluded.

Mayfair Cleaners and its parent company, Kasperbauer Cleaners both proudly use Union SYSTEM K4 drycleaning machines that utilize SOLVON K4, a halogen-free and biodegradable drycleaning solvent.
Through the use of this equipment and solvent, Mayfair Cleaners is able to offer an earth friendly alternative to outdated and harsh drycleaning practices.
In an effort to minimize environmental impact and overall costs, we always accept recycled hangers, bags and pins.
We have also recently switched to a smaller more efficient delivery vehicle.
