Gold Star Cleaners was established by my great-grandfather in 1905 and for generations has provided professional drycleaning services to the greater Bangor / Brewer area. Gold Star Cleaners is one of a handful of dry cleaners nationwide to hold all three certificates in certified professional drycleaner, environmental and wet cleaner.
We take pride in being the best and we back it up 100%. If you're not 100% satisfied in any way we'll clean your garment again at no cost. If we can't make it right, I'll give you your money back! Expert alterations and repairs for all your garments can be taken to any of our nine locations.
All alterations and repairs are subcontracted and will take up to two weeks.
You will be notified by phone upon completion of the alteration or repair.
Prices for alterations and repairs cannot be quoted as they are priced by the subcontractor.
Inquiries on pricing are estimates only.
Gold Star can dryclean and press your B.D.U.'s or A.C.U.'s for that perfect inspection look.
We also can wash, starch, and press them for that crisp hard finish many of you prefer.

Once you're signed up, you will receive a Wash Club card which you can present every time you have us wash, dry, and fold your laundry.
We will mark the card for you and after your 10th wash, you get one FREE.
Gold Star can even keep your card on file for you right at the laundry, but don't forget to let us know to fill out the card.

Each individual who signs up will receive a personalized dry cleaning bag.
Every Tuesday and Friday our van will pick up and deliver at your place of business.
A monthly bill is sent to each participant's home for their cleaning.
We will combine 100 years of Dry Cleaning experience with the needs of your employees in offering you our Business to Business Program.
